Aftercare Housing offers supportive accommodation to former drug users who find themselves homeless after completing residential drug treatment.
The programme aims to assist the integration of former drug users into mainstream society by providing opportunities to participate in group sessions and therapeutic activities.
Residents are required to be abstinent form mood altering chemicals, willing to engage in a life skills and therapeutic day programme and attend an appropriate Day Programme (such as the MQI Drug Free Day Programme) and are offered one–to–one support, an aftercare group.
Service users’ settlement needs are addressed from the start of their stay. All service users are also offered one-to-one counselling and support during their stay.
